Frequently Asked Questions

  • I am a Level 1 ASP, can I do my Electrical Safety Rules with IAC Safety Services®?
  • IAC Safety Services® can assess Level 1 Electrical Safety Rules on behalf of Integral Energy and stamp your passport as such. EnergyAustralia reserves the right to be the only agent who can assess Level 1 ASPs who work on their network. EnergyAustralia does not recognise any other Electrical Safety Rule assessments for Level 1 ASPs. IAC Safety Services® can assess Level 2 Electrical Safety Rules for both Intergral Energy, Energy Australia and Country Energy.

  • I hold a current First Aid Certificate, do I still need to do CPR?
  • Yes, although your First Aid qualification is valid for 3 years. An obligation still exists under the Electricity Safety (supply) of 2005 for every person who access the Electrical Network to be deemed competent in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation annually. So it is easier to undertake your rescue and resusciation training on the same day so that you can have your passport stamped on that same day.
